The following are categories of honours which involve the Society.

THS Honours Board

In its eleven year history, the Society decided to make awards to two categories of members and its Honours Board has now been mounted in the Town Hall, by kind permission of the Town Council.

The Woodard Award

Named after the late Bob Woodard, Honorary Life member. It is awarded by THS for the best article published in the Bulletin of the Society.

Bryan Jerrard Award

This award is bestowed by the Gloucestershire Rural Community Council Local History Committee.

British Association of Local History Award

Honorary Life Members

Using Constitutional Provisions, the Society has made the following members into Honorary Life Members for their "outstanding contribution to the study of Local History over many years".

Cliff Burd, Norah Day, Bryan Linnell, Audrey Pound, Bill Rennison, Colin Wicken, David Willavoys, Bob Woodard.
