The aim of the society is to promote and encourage the historical study of the Tewkesbury district.
Our current projects include: further development of the THS Database (indexing significant items from the Tewkesbury Register and other sources) and Oral History (recording interviews with local people).
Periodically we publish a Bulletin of Members' Researches and we have also published four editions of themed books about Tewkesbury.
A programme of talks and meetings is held in the Methodist Church Hall, usually at 7.45 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
