Buying THS Publications

Our preferred method of payment, especially for overseas customers, is to use the renowned international payment service PayPal (click on the link for details of their service). 

If  you do not wish to use PayPal, then there are other methods of payment available. 

1.  A cheque drawn in UK £ Sterling.

2.  UK Postal Orders.

3.  Sterling travellers' cheques made payable to T.H.S. (Please make sure that  you sign it both top & bottom.)

4.  A cheque drawn in your own non-UK currency. (However, the society incurs bank charges if the cheque is not in £ Sterling.

     If you wish to pay in a foreign currency please add the equivalent of £5 sterling to cover our additional costs.)

The prices shown below all include postage and packaging (they reflect the Royal Mail price rises of 4 Apr 2011). We will refund excess postage when you buy multiple items. 

To post outside of the UK we will use air-mail unless otherwise directed. 

For some of our publications, we now give you the option of having a digital copy rather than the traditional printed book. The digital copy will be in the form of a PDF File (Adobe Portable Document Format). If you do not already have a copy of Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it free of charge from Adobe Systems' website. Click on the following button to download Acrobat Reader.

As the PDF Files are large files we will send them to you via YouSendIt. This is a free email service which allows the transfer of large files that normal email processes cannot cope with. You will not need to install any software on your computer to use it, you will simply receive a normal email with a 'download' link for you to click on to access your file.

Use the following table for PayPal purchases. 

For non-PayPal purchases, email John Dixon, write to him, or telephone him on 01684 294262 (Please allow for time difference if you telephone from aboard! 44 1684 294262). (We will be automatically notified if you use PayPal to purchase, so no need to contact John.)
